Nassau County,
Ramadan begins with blessings and the County Executive, Bruce Blackman arranges a reception at Nassau County Office. The reception hosted by Director of Asian American Affairs, Urooj Islam.The county building was lightened with green color lights and the program begins with recitation of Holy Quran.A large number of Asian-American Muslims participated while US officials, including elected representatives also attended the event.
